The opportunity

• Remote physician consultations for workers’ compensation and after-hours general healthcare across all ages.

Schedule and commitment

• Commitment: 10–15 hours per week.
• Workers’ compensation service operates 24/7; general healthcare consultations occur after normal business hours.
• Consistent evening and weekend availability preferred.
• On-demand scheduling.

Clinical details

• Average consultation length: approximately seven minutes.
• Audio or video consultations depending on state requirements.
• Scribe support on every call; interpreter available when needed.
• Physician reviews and signs the documentation after each consultation.

Requirements

• ABEM, BEEM, ABFM, or ABIM; alternative boards may be considered.
• 30+ active state licenses preferred under the program’s usual criteria; exceptions may be considered for high-volume state licenses or willingness to obtain them.
• California license or application in progress; Arkansas and North Carolina licenses or willingness to obtain promptly.
• New Jersey, Florida, and Virginia licenses preferred, or willingness to obtain.
• Must reside in the United States and be comfortable with virtual workflows.

Compensation and logistics

• $40 per consultation.
