Telemedicine Opportunity
Program Details:
- 24/7 Telemergent service designed specifically for workers’ compensation calls
- General Healthcare Telemedicine calls - after normal business hours- all ages
- Diverts unnecessary ED visits, saving patients time and reducing costs for employers
- On-demand scheduling
- Average call length: ~7 minutes
- Calls may be audio or video, depending on state requirements
- Scribe on every call to handle documentation
- Typical call participants:
- Physician
- Patient
- Scribe
- Interpreter (if needed)
- After each call, the scribe sends a link to the physician for review and signature
- Compensation: $40 per consult
Requirements & Qualifications:
- ABEM/BEEM/ABFM/ABIM (May consider alt boards)
- Must hold 30+ active state licenses. Highest needs in the following states:
Willing to consider candidates who do not meet that minimum if they hold licenses in our high-volume states and/or are willing to obtain them as soon as possible.
Must-have:
- California (or currently applied for)
- Arkansas (or willing to obtain ASAP)
- North Carolina (or willing to obtain ASAP)
Preferred: (or willing to obtain)
- New Jersey
- Florida
- Virginia
Highest-volume states YTD are Wisconsin, Massachusetts, Tennessee, Maryland, Illinois, Indiana, Arizona, South Carolina, and Pennsylvania.
- Enthusiastic about telehealth
- Comfortable with technology and virtual workflows
- Willing to commit 10-15 hours per week
- Must reside in the United States
- Demonstrate a strong sense of professionalism and teamwork
- Are available more consistently, particularly during evenings and weekends
