This EM Physician locum opportunity is about 90 miles east of Jackson, MS.

Successful candidates must hold a current Board Certification or be board-eligible and actively participate in the examination process leading to board certification.

Facility Information:

• Annual ED Patient Volume: 33,000
• Physician Coverage: 36 hours
• APP Coverage: 17 hours
• Shift Times:  6a-6p, 11a-11p, and 6p-6a
• EMR:  Epic with Dragon dictation

Minimum Formal Training:

• Board Certification(s): Active ABEM, BEEM
• Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA-approved residency training program.
  • Residents in year 2 or greater are eligible for Emergency Medicine Privileges.
    • EXCEPTION: Military physicians)

Required Previous Experience:

Applicants for initial appointment must demonstrate active practice within the past 12 months.

Exception: Extenuating circumstances to be considered by the PEC & MEC

Applicants have the burden of producing information deemed adequate by the Hospital for a proper evaluation of current competence and other qualifications.
