• Board Requirements: ABEM/BEEM 
• Life Certification Requirements:  If not, EM boarded, one of ACLS, PALS, or ATLS required for Moderate Sedation privileges along with moderate sedation education. Preference if not EM trained for applicants to have all 3. 
• Annual Volume: 25,000
• Patients/Hour: 2.0
• Physician Coverage: 24h
• Mid-Level Coverage: 12h
• Admission Rate: 5%
• Trauma Level: None
• EMR: Meditech Expanse (EPIC December 2026)
• Admitting Orders:  Yes
• Hospital Beds: None  
• Emergency Department Beds: 12 
• Nearest Trauma Center: Vanderbilt and Skyline
• Specialty Backup: CT and Ultrasound.
• Shift Times: 12/hr shifts (7a-7p ; 7p-7a)
