Locum Tenens Opportunity in the Midwest

Setting:

• EMR: Cerner
• 2 weeks/month to full time coverage needed
  • If less than full time, please include dates each month they are available
• TEE certification required
• Care team Model – CRNA in every room
• Max ratio 1:4, less for bigger cases
• Some general work part of the position
• Start Date: ASAP
• Credentialing estimated at 90 days (could be faster, could be longer)
• Shifts can be a mix of 8’s, 10s, 12’s (if on 12’s, you also have call that night)
  • Will guarantee 40 hours/week minimum
• Nights and weekend call required (Post-day call off)
  • Always have 1 General and 1 Cardiac on call (on is 1st call, one is 2nd call)
  • On weekends, if you are first call Sat, then you will be 2nd call on Sunday
  • Will do General cases if on 1st call, but if Cardiac case comes in, then back up call will take over general cases
  • Call taken from home
  • CRNAs scheduled in house 24/7 

Last Years Total Cases:

• Breakdown: 280 Open Hearts, 80 Valves, 165 CABGs. 116 TAVRs, 10 Mitral Clips, 256 Watchman, 430 TEEs, 100 Cardioversions, 897 EP, 10-20 LVADs

Equipment: Echo Machine: Phillips 3D, all X8 Probes

Must be Licensed in TX
