Sycamore is seeking a Board Certified CRNA to join a collaborative anesthesia team at a respected hospital in Michigan. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician looking for autonomy, schedule flexibility, and the benefits of diversified income.
This role offers the chance to work across a full patient demographic, from pediatrics to geriatrics, and to engage in a variety of surgical cases, including neurosurgery and spinal anesthesia. This is a supervised CRNA role, providing the opportunity to work closely with anesthesiologists and surgical teams in a collaborative environment.
Job Description
- Administer anesthesia for general surgical procedures for both adult and pediatric patients
- Provide anesthesia care for neurosurgical cases, ensuring proper management of neurological status pre- and post-procedure
- Perform spinal anesthesia and local infiltration anesthesia as required by surgical procedures
- Manage ventilation and monitor respiratory status throughout the surgical process
- Deliver anesthesia under direct supervision in a collaborative environment with anesthesiologists and surgical teams
- Maintain continuous patient monitoring throughout the perioperative phase (pre-op, intra-op, and post-op)
- Utilize Epic EMR for all documentation and anesthesia records
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedural protocols, and safety standards
- Work four (4) 10-hour shifts per week
- No on-call duties required (strictly scheduled shifts)
- Operate within a hospital-based setting designated as a Level II Trauma Center
- Contribute to a daily volume of approximately 50 surgical cases
- Work alongside a team in multiple operating rooms, with rotating assignments based on need
- Respond to emergencies and provide airway management, including intubation if needed
Certification Requirements
- Board Certified CRNA - REQUIRED
- Active MI license - REQUIRED
- Clean Background- REQUIRED
- ACLS & BLS through AHA - Required
- PALS - Required
- Must have 1 year CRNA experience - REQUIRED
- AANA
State License Requirements
- Michigan
Additional License Requirements
- Must have at least 1 year of CRNA experience; new graduates are not accepted
