Anesthesiologist Opportunity – Community Hospital (Central Massachusetts)

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Active Massachusetts license and DEA required
• Full-time weekly availability required
• Participation in call required
• Locum candidates must already hold an active license and DEA

PRACTICE SETTING:

• 5 MD / 5 CRNA care team model
• Average daily onsite staffing:
  • 3 physicians
  • 5 CRNAs
  • 2 physicians supervising CRNAs
  • 1 physician providing direct patient care
• 6 ORs, 2 Endoscopy suites, 1 Procedure room
• Late room coverage until 5:30 PM
• Single provider coverage after 5:30 PM
• EPIC EMR

CASE MIX:

• ~5,200 annual cases
• Orthopedics, GI, Endoscopy, IR, Vascular, Thoracic, Urology, ENT, Ophthalmology, Plastics
• Minimal Pediatrics (ENT only)
• General, regional, neuraxial anesthesia and acute pain management
• No trauma
• No cardiac
• No OB
• No intracranial cases
• Physicians currently perform all epidurals and regional blocks

SCHEDULE & CALL:

• 10-hour shifts (7a–5p)
• 1:5 beeper call rotation (weekdays and weekends)
• Weekend 24-hour beeper call
• No post-call day off
• No in-house call
