This facility is the only full-service hospital located in one of the most densely populated zip codes in the United States. In 2022, East Campus completed a $20 million expansion project to meet the growing needs of the East community by expanding its bed capacity from 108 beds to 218 beds. This includes the addition of 30 new patient care beds, 6 new Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) beds, additional OB emergency triage services, and an additional OB operating room, a third Catheterization Lab offering access to advanced stroke care, and increased access to robotic surgical technology. To strengthen emergency services, the facility is actively working to enhance and elevate trauma care for area residents.
