Call Requirements: Home call required for mechanical thrombectomy
Case Types: include lots of general surgery, ortho, total joints, urology, podiatry, endo, lungs, blocks, healthy peds (ENT). Rare sedation for MRI. Some eyes. Occasional TEE’s and cardioversions. No hearts, heads, trauma or OB.
The three most common blocks are: Spinals; Adductor canal blocks; Interscalene blocks. The CRNA’s do blocks as well as the anesthesiologist, so if someone does not do blocks we will still use them.
Coverage Model: 3 MDs and 4 CRNAs (medical supervision NOT medically directed)
