Job Details:
Cardiac Capable Required. OB & Peds Proficient Required.
Setting:
- EMR: TBD
- 26 Anesthesia Locations: 19 within Main Hospital, 4 at Surgical Center across the street, 2 at Endo Center, 1 at Sister Hospital
- Physicians generally supervise CRNAs
- 10 MD, 36 CRNA Anesthesia Care Team Model
- There is always 1 MD and 2 CRNAs in-house 24 hours a day
Case Mix:
- Ortho, GI, general, OB, GYN, urology, vascular, neuro, ophthalmology, thoracic, cardiac (including 152 open hearts), some trauma. Cardiac includes TAVR, mitral valve clip and watchman procedures, on and off pump, CABG, cardiac ablation and TEE.
- Case Volume: 15,000 Annual
- OB Volume: 2,000 Annual
- Cardiac Volume: 300 Annual
Scheduling/Call:
- 1 Full-Time Provider
- Shift TImes: 8h Shifts
- Beeper Call: Call taking providers preferred.
- Q9 in a six months period (12 weekdays and 9 weekends). A call number more frequent than above can only be assigned with the written permission of an individual physician.
