- Call Requirements: Preferred/Voluntary
- Case Types: Ortho, GI, general, OB, GYN, urology, vascular, neuro, ophthalmology, thoracic, cardiac (including 152 open hearts). Some trauma, No peds
- Shifts: 8h, 10h, 12 h or 24 h
- No trauma. After 7 pm CRNA covers OB and emergent OR cases
- Staffing Model: 11PHY / 32CRNAs
- Coverage ratio: Medically directed, 1 to 2 or 1 to 3
- Physicians generally supervise CRNAs
- CRNA Level of autonomy:
o Docs mostly do regional and epidurals. Docs have a great relationship with CRNAs and would possibly be open to a CRNA doing them if they really wanted to.
o Yes, CRNAs do spinals and a-lines
o Docs do cardiac
