ABEM Physician Needed in Southeastern Virginia - Multiple Sites

Site 1: ABEM/BEEM (ACLS required)

• Annual Vol: 63000
• Patients/Hour: 1.5-2
• Physician Coverage: 38h
• Mid-Level Coverage: 58h (7a-1p ; 7a-4p ; 10a-10p ; 12p-10p ; 3p-2a ; 9p-7a)
• Trauma Level: None
• EMR: Epic
• Floor Codes: No
• Emergency Department Beds: 40
• Specialty Backup: Stroke center, OB, Int Cards, vascular, GI, surgery, ortho (with hand, spine), 2-3 days a week of neurosurgery, nephrology, neurology (in addition to telestroke), hematology/oncology, urology, pulmonary/critical care, and podiatry.
• Shift Times: 9.5h shifts (6a-3:30p ; 11a-8:30p ; 3:30p-1a ; 8:30p-6a)
• Shift Requirement: 3-4/month minimum, must be willing to cover PM shifts

Site 2: ABEM/BEEM (ACLS required)

• Annual Vol: 31000
• Patients/Hour: 1.5-2
• Physician Coverage: 24h
• Mid-Level Coverage: 22h
• Trauma Level: None
• EMR: Epic
• Scribes: No
• Emergency Department Beds: 19
• Specialty Backup: None (FSED)
• Shift Times: 12h shifts (7a-7p ; 7p-7a)
• Shift Requirement: 3-4/month minimum, must be willing to cover PM shifts
